🍭 Allsorts - A/G, option of Monochrome

This week at 🍭 Allsorts the theme is Anything goes with an option of Monochrome. Monochrome is when everything is in one colour, can be lots of shades of that colour but still just one colour. I used the image Chocolate Baroque Honeysuckle Butterfly and made everything in shades of pink.

And since Easter is coming up this challenge will last for two weeks, giving you lots of time to enter for a chance to win.

We have two fabulous prizes:

Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley and David Wharton.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!

Chocolate Baroque's next shows on Hochanda TV (The Craft Store from April 1st) will be on Good Friday 2nd April.

Prize is this beautiful
Chocolate Baroque stamp: Floribunda Net

As it's a two week challenge another prize is Tattered Lace die cut: Pure Rose

🍭 Allsorts - Spring flowers 💐

This week at 🍭 Allsorts the theme is Spring flowers 💐.

I'm not entirely sure that the azalea is a spring flower, I wanted to use tulips but my tulip stamp hasn't arrived yet, so you'll just have to bear with me.
The azalea stamp is from Power poppy, coloured with distress inks Aged Mahogany, Worn Lipstick and Evergreen Bough. The sentiment is Stampin' Up.

We are sponsored this week by

Pinksy DoodlesMaker of digital images and cutting files for card making and craft projects.

We Love Chocolate Baroque - I love 😍💕 mid month

We are at the mid-month mark for We Love Chocolate Baroque where the theme is I love 😍, so this is a reminder to enter that challenge. A lucky winner will be able to select an A4 stamp sheet or stamps to the same value from Chocolate Baroque

Well, apart from blue and vintage I also love Christmas and Tomtar. It is a wonderful time of the year and I look forward to it, perhaps more than my children and grand-children 😜

So I made a gift tag using  A Tomte Christmas from Chocolate Baroque. The image is stamped on water color paper with distress ink Aged Mahogany mixed with water and Perfect Pearls, fussy cut and added to the tag using dimension tape.

🍭 Allsorts - Stamped image

This week at 🍭 Allsorts the theme, set by me, is  add a stamped image. Easy enough, right?

I made a background by painting rainbow stripes with metallic watercolors on white watercolor paper and stamped the image and sentiment. Image is Stampin´Up, sentiment unknown. I didn't wanna color the image since the background is so vibrant, and I'm pleased with the result.

I have noticed that I have shifted my style from having a cute, hand coloured image as focus all the time to putting more focus on backgrounds and vivid colours. I recently discovered that there is a Swedish company selling the Lavinia stamps, and inspired by my fantastically talented DT collegue Tracy Mouse (just check her contribution for this challenge out!), I bought a bunch - yes, a bunch - of stamps. But since Corona is preventing me from spending money on restaurant visits and such social pleasures I felt that it was ok :)

I'll showcase my attempts later on. But here is the card for this week:

We are sponsored this week by Stamp Addicts, giving a lucky winner a £15 voucher to shop for.

Stamp Addicts are showcasing brand new stamps on Hochanda TV on Wednesday the 15th at 5 pm so tune in to see lots of butterflies, flowers and shrink plastic.

We Love Chocolate Baroque - I love

Welcome to a new month with We Love Chocolate Baroque where the theme is I love. A lucky winner will be able to select an A4 stamp sheet or stamps to the same value from Chocolate Baroque, a small independent art and craft company based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton.

Well, I love gift bags, butterflies, vintage and the colour blue so I made a gift bag from white cardstock and covered it with a white paper that I crumbled and coloured with distress ink Vintage Photo. I stamped the image from Butterfly Poppy Collage once on the backing paper and once on a separate paper so that I could colour the butterfly, cut it out and layer it on top of the first image.

🍭 Allsorts - Use Yellow 🟡

This week at 🍭 Allsorts the theme is Use Yellow 🟡. I used a backing paper from Chocolate Baroque called Black and White paper series 2. I coloured it with distress inks in Mustard Seed and Dried Marigold and coloured the flowers with Seedless Preserves. The backing paper has lovely details so I just added a stamped sentiment.

One lucky winner will get this stamp from our sponsor this week:
