Remake of an old wooden chest

Found this wooden chest in a thrift shop for £8, I liked the size and the overall quality of it, but not how it looked.

 

So I painted it white and dabbed the edges with distress ink Walnut Stain, spray painted the metal details with a copper spray and added a French label from The Graphics Fairy and now it's a lot more me :)

Allsorts - embossing

Morning all and welcome to a new challenge at Allsorts. It's my turn to be in charge of this week's challenge. I've set the theme to Embossing and I'm so looking forward to visit you and see all your contributions!

I used an image from LotV, coloured with distress inks and I stamped and embossed the stars from Magnolia and a Christmas sentiment from Flonz.

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts and Jo has a lovely colour combo for you - Creme and Brown.
I picked out a Magnolia image and made a gift box. I'm extra pleased with the tags, made from plain white paper and coloured with distress ink in brown and black nuances.

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts, and the fitting theme is Autumn.
I am very much into the old and beloved Hanglar stamps at the moment so I used these cuties for a gift bag in the colours of autumn.
