Allsorts - So cute

This week at Allsorts the theme is So cute, an easy one :) I used this old Magnolia image, coloured with Distress ink Broken China and Pumice Stone and I put some Diamond Stickles on the wings to make them shine a bit extra. A bunch of flowers and nothing extra since I love the colour of the background paper and wanted it to show. The center of the daisy is bright orange in original but that was not what I was going for so I painted it with white acrylic.

Allsorts - Kitchen/Cooking/Baking

Hi all,
this week at Allsorts Mervi chose the theme Kitchen/Cooking/Baking so I made a card with a Magnolia image and a sentiment in Swedish saying "Is there cake?" I did a little paper piecing on the image, a rather fun technique I use way too seldom.

Allsorts - Sparkle

The theme at Allsorts this week is Sparkle. A great theme but always really hard to take good photos of, I'm sure you can all relate to that :). If anyone has a great solution, please do tell!
I made a gift tag using the cute Magnolia baby and with lots of bling all over. Hopefully some of it shows at least. It's a double tag with a sentiment and space for a personal greeting on the back one.

Allsorts - use a stamp

It is so nice that summer has finally arrived here in the north of Sweden. Yesterday was, all of a sudden, a day when the temperature went from +10 degrees to +20. It was amazing!

So today will be a garden day, but first this week's challenge at Allsorts, we want you to use a stamp, not a digi stamp but a regular one. So I took out a Magnolia (Tilda with peony) and made a lavender card with a summery feeling.

Morning, it's my turn to set the theme for Allsorts this week and I figured that since we had a clean and simple last week we should turn up the volume and Bring the Bling.
I made a book card with rhinestones, image from Magnolia, flowers from I.am.roses and Stickles platinum all over the place :)

Morning,
it's my turn to set the theme at Allsorts and I chose Use brads. It's a lovely decoration and they come is so many different shapes and forms.
I made a Christmas card using a Magnolia image and put some blingy brads as flower centers.

Hopefully there'll be some time for crafting next week cause there's a sports holiday for all schools all of next week, and crafting is a sport, right?

I picked out a Magnolia image and made a gift box. I'm extra pleased with the tags, made from plain white paper and coloured with distress ink in brown and black nuances.

Don't know about where you live, but here autumn has surely arrived with lots of rain and really cold weather, especially in the mornings...

Welcome to a new challenge at Stampin for the Weekend with the theme for the girls. Easy enough I should say =)

Allsorts - different folds

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts, a really fun one according to me :). It's to use different folds and I love that; I love doing them and I love to hop around and look at your clever creations for new inspiration, so dazzle me ;)!
Unfortunately there won't be much hopping this week since I'm going to Mallorca with my girls today for a relaxing week in the sun :).

Anyway, I made two frames and glued them together, making a box-card of sorts :). Magnolia image and tags.

Morning,
I scheduled this post cause I'm on chorus practice the entire weekend, we are being coached by the amazingly talented Mo Field, so great!!

So, at Allsorts the theme is colours starting with the letter B. So I used a beige cardstock for the tag, blue paper from Magnolia, brown seam binding and some burgundy on the arrows on the Magnolia image :).

dags igen att blogga för Scrap och Ting. Idag har jag ett kort med sömnadstema att visa. Motivet är Magnolia, målat med Distress Markers (se detaljer nedan) och med rosa samt vit Liquid Pearls. Mönsterpapper är Pion's Purple rose samt Alma's sewing room klippark. Bakom motivet har jag satt ostduk och en liten minipåse. För att ge kortet en shabby look har jag duttat vit akrylfärg över både blommor och papperskanter.

Scrap och Ting - bröllopsväska

Hejsan, 

dags för ett nytt inspirationsalster för Scrap och Ting. Den här gången har jag gjort en resväska med bröllopstema. Magnolias Vintage Wedding-stämpel är alldeles underbar och jag tycker jättemycket om den. Den är färglagd med Distress markers i mjuka toner. Även designpapperet är Magnolia (With Love) precis som den swirl-die du ser skymta bakom fjädern.

Time for a new project for Scrap och Ting. This time a wedding suitcase using the Magnolia Vintage Wedding stamp. The below pictures are rather explanatory on how to do the suitcase. Watch out for the DIY cardstock roses at the end of the post!

 
När jag gjorde väskan mätte och bigade jag för två vanliga askar och fäste ihop dem i bakkant. På så vis fick jag två lika stora väskdelar men i ett stycke.

Jag limmade sedan mönsterpapper på de delar du ser nedan.

När jag sedan limmat fast alla flikar är väskan i princip klar.

För att locket ska sitta bättre mot underdelen satte jag en kartongbit i samma storlek som underdelen, det blir en kant som gör att delarna fäster ihop bra när man stänger väskan.

En resväska blir ju inte komplett utan de små hörnen. De tillverkade jag av utstansade cirklar som jag vek enligt bilden nedan.

Handtaget placerade jag mitt emellan övre och nedre väskdelen men limmade bara fast i locket. 

Och avslutningsvis en liten närbild på egenhändigt ihopknåpade rosor av cardstock. De har jag lärt mig göra via min DT-kompis Ankis blogg :)
