Totally Tilda - summer fun

Very fitting challenge theme for Totally Tilda this fortnight: summer fun, should be fairly easy right? =). I think berry picking is fun so this Tilda with berry basket was perfect for a gift tag. Might hang it on a jar of jam but no berries were ripe when I made the tag =). I live in the north of Sweden, remember ;)

Morning,

hats off to UK for the wonderful ceremony yesterday, their team outfits were a bit surprising but the overall  ceremony was spectacular!

Anyhow, at Allsorts this week we have a card by Emma that we want you to case, use the layout ,colours, theme, image interpret  it however you would like to :) I cased the layout and made a Christmas card, it turned out a little dark but I like the image.

I also want to welcome two new DT members Tracey  and Sarah, glad to have you on board.

A Tilda Heart

Back from a week in the summer house, we had wonderful weather and it was sooo relaxing. So now I'm back home and was greeted by the grey sky that waved me off a week ago.

I have of course missed my craft room so I've made a heart box for some challenges:

Totally Tilda reminder

Just a quick note to remind you all that there is one week remaining for the challenge to use a Magnolia sentiment at Totally Tilda. 

I recently got my hands on this cherry blossom die from Memory Box and the flowers turned out lovely - it's plain white paper distressed with victorian velvet, tumbled glass and old paper and sprayed with perfect pearls. The thingies in the middle are distressed with iced spruce and so are the leaf dies. 

Allsorts - distressing

This week at Allsorts the theme is distressing, a challenge just up my alley =).

I used a digi from Saturated Canary, coloured with Distress Markers in tumbled glass and victorian velvet. I kinda like the effect the black backing paper gave to the card.  We've got a new sponsor at Allsorts - Flonz - but unfortunately the stamps didn't get here in time - probably since I live where I do =). But the stamps they have are in a word amazing!

At Stampin for the Weekend we have a colour combo for you to follow - pink and green. 

It's a Magnolia stamp sitting on a flower - that too a Magnolia stamp, and I didn't overload the card more than that =).

I like having the Tildas sit on the sentiments and it worked well for this challenge.

The Design Team at Allsorts all got the same material to work with and the challenge for the rest of you is to find inspiration by our work. It's amazing how different the project turned out though working with the same base =).

It's been sooooo hot today! No, no, no I'm not complaining, not in the least but going to a fair for a couple of hours, then going for a swim in the nearby lake and then dinner at my parents' is a full day when it has been +27 C all day. So sitting in the scrap room was quite relaxing this evening =).

I managed a gift tag for a couple of challenges.

It's Saturday and therefor time for another challenge at Allsorts. We want you to use the colour combination red, white and blue.

I used one of the lovely stamps from Lavinia stamps, masked a moon (it's sparkly silver but the photo doesn't really show that), distressed the background with Tumbled Glass and Weathered Wood. Corner die is from Nellie Snellen.

SFTW - tags

The challenge at Stampin for the Weekend is to make a tag or use a tag on your project. I made a tag to use as a bookmark. Can't have too many of those. =)

Totally Tilda - seaside

It's time for another challenge at Totally Tilda and the theme is Seaside. Marine themes are so out of my comfort zone but I'm quite pleased with the outcome. 

The paper inside the frame is painted with sandpaint, gives it a very beachy feeling =).
 

 

Penny Black @ Allsorts - summer blooms

Guest designing for our sister challenge PB@A this month and the theme for July is Summer Blooms. I made a matching gift set with acetate box and card. I adore the little hedgehogs so much!
