Allsorts - tags

Morning,
still warm and sunny and time for a new challenge at Allsorts. This one is also a fortnight long :) and the theme is tags, so create a tag och use a tag on your project.

I have started with the Christmas makings now - no time like the present - and made a Christmas tag, distressed a background using a honeycomb stencil, added a diecut tree and a banner, distressed and stamped with a sentiment.

Sponsor for this challenge is Lost Coast Designs with a $10 store voucher.

Allsorts - Flowers all over

It's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and during the summer the challenges will last for two weeks to give the Design Team a well earned rest :)
The challenge this fortnight is Flowers all over, easy peasy right?
I made a card in blue and silver, the embossed silver swirl is from Stempelglede and to give the card a shabby look I smeared blue paint on the white roses and silver paint on the blue ones.

Allsorts - In my garden

This week at Allsorts Brenda chose the theme to be In my garden. I made a tag with cat tails, I don't actually have cat tails in my backyard but I would really like it. I just don't have enough space and flower beds... Ah well, some day...

Our prize this week its a beautiful floral stamp from Chocolate Baroque called Floral Harmony.

Chocolate Baroque who are a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton. Our resident artist, Sue Page, works from her home in Hampshire where she is inspired, amongst other things, by the natural world, botanical art and early 20th century illustration.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from Sue's hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley. The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!
