Colour explosion for Inloveartshop

Today I am reviewing a stencil and a leaf die from  Inloveartshop, And as an extra bonus for you guys, there's a discount code for you at the end of this post.

I used the layering stencil with three colours of Distress Ink - Mustard seed, Picked Raspberry and Peacock feathers - the blending creates more colours which gives a really nice effect. I loved how crisp the lines turned out, none of the ink bled under the stencil. Could be skills, could be good material 😉 After it was dry I sprayed a homemade mist made of water and Perfect Pearls to get a shimmer.

I then inked and misted some white cardstock with Peacock feathers before die cutting the leaves. It comes in a set of four dies and I was set on using the Monstera leaf die but these ones actually turned out better. Some crinkled up flowers with pearl brad centers finished off the creation.

Designing for Inloveartshop

I have been asked to use and review some products from Inloveartshop, an online craft-supplier. And as an extra bonus for you guys, there's a discount code for you at the end of this post.

The first thing that I will show you today is a Christmas card 🎄, totally valid to make them in July 🕶️. I didn't plan it when I made the background, using the flower mask and distress ink Weathered Wood but it felt a little Christmassy so I added the winter scene stamp and a Christmas sentiment and it worked out really well. A good example of using craft supplies in ways they weren't necessarily aimed for.
