🍭Allsorts - Anything goes 🎆

It is close to Christmas 🎄🎅so this will be a two week challenge, hosted by Lynn, and the theme is Anything goes.
I really like making gift bags so this is one of the recent ones I have made using mainly bits and pieces from my stash. These bags are really handy to have ready so that you can fill them with candy or tea or a small gift if an invitation to a friend pops up

🍭Allsorts - Inspired by a song

This week at Allsorts Ellie wants us to take inspiration from a song or song title in our creations. I used Let it Snow, one of the songs we sang during our Christmas concert with Snowflake singers.

I printed the pine trees, a free digi from Beccy's place, and stamped the sentiment, mounted on bright pink card and added a colour matching bow. Finished it all off with some sparkling stickles here and there.

🍭Allsorts - Snowmen ⛄or snowflakes ❄️

This week Kath set the challenge at Allsorts to Snowmen ⛄or Snowflakes ❄️ and that fits very well since the Christmas concert with my chorus Snowflake singers is today ❄️🎼🎶🎵

I made a card using an image from Lili of the valley  and a big snowflake die from e-bay.

🍭Allsorts - Christmas gifts 🎁🛍️

At Allsorts this week the theme is Christmas gifts 🎁. These are some gift bags 🛍️I made containing ingredients for Snowman soup 🥣. The lighting isn't very good (it's November so it's dark almost 24/7 up here in the north) but the text says:

When the weather outside is frightful
snowman soup can be delightful.
May it warm your spirit and your soul
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

When you feel a chill or a "brrrrrrrrr"
use a candy cane stick to stir
Add hot water and sip it slow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

And the bags contain a candy cane stick, a bag of instant chocolate powder and some mini marshmallows.

🍭Allsorts - Thank you or New Year

This week at Allsorts the theme is Thank You or New Year. I made a Thank You-card by water-painting a background, cutting out a circle and adding a bow over the cut out. The cut out circle is glued to the inside of the card but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the opened card before I gave it away, oops :)

This week Mervi set the theme at Allsorts to Christmas flowers.
I focused on the flowers on a white background embossed with a snowflake die and some banner letters spelling Merry Christmas in Swedish.

🍭Allsorts - White on white 🌨️

This week Brenda set the theme at Allsorts to White on White 🌨️. I'm guessing this will open up for some snowy entries ⛸️. Skin colour will be ok though.
Some people say that sparkly cards are hard to photograph but I think white on white is a true challenge, as you can see on my poor attempt below...

🍭Allsorts - Make your own flowers 💐🌻🌺

It is my turn to host the challenge at Allsorts and being inspired by last week's challenge to make backgrounds I want you to create your own flowers this week 💐🌻🌺. And I mean create, not just stamp a flower 😙
I made my flowers from white foamiran that I coloured lilac to match the backing paper (that was made using a mask and some distress inks). The sentiment is covered in crackle paint.

🍭Allsorts - Make your own background

This week at Allsorts Lynn wants us to make our own backgrounds, this means no design paper 🚫. I quite enjoy doing my own backgrounds so this is just up my alley. I used distress ink in pink and lavender and lots of sparkling mist to make the background. Stamped it with the text and the elephant and added a hand drawn frame and some flowers.

🍭Allsorts - Add a touch of gold or silver 🥇🥈

This week at Allsorts Ellie wants you to add a touch of gold 🥇or silver 🥈to your projects. I think I went all in and added more than a touch of gold 🤪 but I'm quite pleased with the sparkly result.

All it took was some ribbon, a die from E-bay and golden gift wrapping paper.

This week at Allsorts the theme is Ribbon 🎗️🎀, a fair and square challenge :). I used a pretty design paper so I didn't need an image and then made a belly band with ribbin weaved in, and a bow to finish it off.

This week at Allsorts the theme is From boys to men 👦👨. I used a stamp from Tim Holtz called Beer blueprint. I have now discovered a use for the Pine Needles distress ink cause it makes a lovely bottle colour :)

🍭Allsorts - Trees or leaves 🌳🍃🍁

This week at Allsorts the theme is trees 🌳and leaves 🍃🍁. I made a Christmas tag using a tree stencil from the Tim Holtz collection and a text stamp from Nellie Snellen. When I mask of to make the ground I usually just rip off a post-it to make an uneven line which creates the effect when distressing the ground.

Prize this week is a set of cut and emboss Ferns and Leaves from Tattered Lace.

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts. And this week it's Anything goes. I made a watercolour background and punched out some flowers in corresponding colours. I noticed when I looked at the picture that one of the flower petals has been "chewed off" but it's an Ah well-moment :)

My turn to present this week's challenge here at Allsorts. Since summer is slowly coming to an end - at least here in Sweden where I live 🧦- I figured we might start to be inspired by all the lovely autumn colours out there. So the challenge this week is to create something with Autumn colours. 🍁🍂🍃

🍭Allsorts - Soft pastels 🎨

Morning all, my turn to host this week's challenge at Allsorts and I chose Soft Pastels.🎨
I made some foamiran flowers 🌸and glued them on a box of matches after covering the box with shiny acrylic paint and some pearls.

Top picture is taken using studio light and picture below is using a daylight lamp 📷. Couldn't really decide which one I liked the most so I posted both :)
