Going to a PTA meeting tonight but I wanted to post the award I got from Carly. Thank you so much hun, I'm honored!

Woohoo, Monday again! Time for a new challenge at Die Cut Dreams, this time with the theme Teddy Bears Birthday. I bet there will be loads of cute entries this week =).

I used this supercute stamp from Elzybells and made a monochrome cream card. I'm so upset that I'm almost out of this wonderful ribbon now cause I bought it from a shop that has gone out of business =(

Allsorts - plain and simple

Today it's Saturday and I have a whole day of crafting and chatting ahead of me. I'm going to a craft event with my best mate. But Saturday also means challenge at Allsorts and this week it's time for plain and simple. That's a bit tricky for me cause I tend to overdo whatever I do (shush now friends and work mates, don't nod in agreement) so my DT collegues really put me to shame on this one.

But I took a plain wooden frame, painted it with white acrylic paint and added some flowers and pearls. You can't really overdo a frame so it's almost cheating ;)

Double sugar =)

Made this card today to fit two challenges; The Sugar Bowl sketch and A Spoonful of Sugar's Anything goes. I just got a new stamp set with the tag and the post stamp and I really like them =).

DCD - vellum

At Die Cut Dreams the challenge this week is to use vellum on your project and I used this gorgeous digi image from Papilio Stamps and kept the card rather plain to accentuate the vellum backing paper that was kindly given to me by a dear friend, thanks a bunch hun!
Main colour is Tumbled Glass.

And time for Allsorts to have a new challenge, this time to use at least three different punches. WoJ image coloured with Aged Mahogany, Black Soot and Vintage Photo, backing paper computer generated.

SFTW - tag your work

Time for another fortnightly challenge at Stampin for the Weekend. The challenge is to have a tag on your work and I did cause the card basically is a tag =). We got some lovely images from our sponsor Meljens Designs and I chose the adorable kittens. Backing paper from Ullared, colours used are Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo.

this week at Die Cut Dreams the challenge is Sweet Little Girls. All the sweet little DT girls got images from Digital Delights to play with and I got this little cutie that I coloured with Frayed Burlap and Stormy Sky. I chose blue and brown to try to get away from the all-time-pink situation =). The heart tag is a stamp that I embossed and cut out.

Allsorts - Colours of Autumn

At Allsorts this week the challenge is to use the colours of Autumn.

I made October for my birthday calendar using a bunch of stamps (the boy is Greeting Farm, the apple is Magnolia and the fruitbowl is Whiff of Joy) and backing paper from a paper swap. If you're wondering whatever happened to September you're quite correct =). I haven't made a September, it sorta fell between the chairs...

it really feels like I've neglected this for way too long but here goes What's on My Workdesk Wednesday again.

The answer is "loads" but only DT work so no peeking today. Instead I will show you the strawberry pyramid that I made.

Loads of sand and soil, thank Goodness for healthy dads to the rescue =). The plants look a bit sad right now but it's autumn so they are excused.

DCD - pearls and pins

Morning, this week at Die Cut Dreams the theme is Pearls and Pins.

I used a LOTV image, coloured in distress ink Spun Sugar. The background is home made using Spun Sugar and stamped with Pumice Stone. Flowers from WO and home made pins.

this Saturday I have two projects for you. The first one is my DT work for Allsorts where the theme this week is New Beginnings.

I made a new cover for my school year calendar - the life line I can't function without ;). It's always tricky to make flat projects (if I put flowers and such on this it would be ruined since I put it in my bag and take it out several times a day)


And my next work is made for the DCD Christmas Club where I am guest designer this week. The theme is Christmas Tilda in Pink.

I've used a silver backing paper but that's always hard to show properly, a gorgeous Penny Black stamp, MS lace punch and letters from a Sizzix alphabet.

Taking care of a coughing wee one today, hot honey water and Hanna Montana on the telly...
Thank goodness for the laptop ;), I look like a caring mom in the sofa beside the feverish little poor thing but I am in fact surfing around in blog land.

I made two sentiments that might come in handy one of these days and of course I'm sharing them.

Penny Black at Allsorts - Punch away

Since we are entering September now we have a new challenge for you at Penny Black at Allsorts. The theme is Punch Away. As usual there are some absolutely awesome prizes for some lucky ladies!!!

I used some DP from the Linen closet stack together with this supercute snowmen stamp coloured with antique linen distress ink.
