Allsorts - In the pink

Morning,
the challenge theme this week at Allsorts is In the pink, should fit many of you out there in blogland :).
I made a tea bag dispenser (lots of great templates on the net). I actually made a bunch for my mum, she was really thrilled. But this one in pink fitted our theme nicely.

Morning all and welcome to the June challenge at the Sugar Bowl, another Anything goes. My DT creation is made using Manga girl #2, coloured with Distress inks, mainly Victorian Velvet and Black Soot. An adorable image, very easy to colour.

Allsorts - Happy 7th birthday Allsorts

Allsorts - Vintage

Time for another challenge at Allsorts. This time with a Vintage-theme, just up my alley :)

I made a tag using a LotV-image, maybe it will come in handy when my nephew and his girlfriend have their baby in August :)

Allsorts - Magic in the air

Morning,
this afternoon my chorus is competing in the Nordic Championships in barbershop, wish us luck :).
But first I want to announce our new challenge over at Allsorts where Brenda felt that There's magic in the Air so think fairies, toadstools, elves and all things mystical.

My project is a fairy door to put for instance in the garden. Made with pebbles and popsicle sticks coloured with grey acrylic paint. i glued the pebbles around the door using white glue with grey paint, sand and some silver sparkles in it. Keyhole and hinges made with black liquid pearl. The hook is a bent wire and the key a metal charm. It's fun to use other material than paper sometimes :).

Allsorts - cherry on top

Welcome to a new challenge at Allsorts. This week I'm hosting and I set the theme to Cherry on top. It doesn't necessarily have to be a cherry but I want your project to feature some kind of fruit or berries. I went for strawberries. First attempt to make a watercolour background, turned out rather nicely. Image is a Clear dollar stamp.

Allsorts - red/white/blue

Welcome to a new challenge at Allsorts. This week the theme is Red/White/Blue. Since I normally use very soft and smudged colours this primary colour combo scared me a bit. But I rolled up my sleaves and dug into it and I'm pretty pleased with the result. I might try these rather strong colours again.
