DCD - spring garden scene

Morning, this fortnight at Die Cut Dreams the theme is Spring garden scene. I know it's not much of a scene but I love this image and just really wanted to use it. So clean and so easy to colour. And tulips are the essence of spring for me.

Allsorts - make your own flowers

I used the Perfume bottles digi stamp and coloured it with Aquamarkers Rose Carmine, Celery, Aquamarine and Straw Yellow.

The flower is made by pulling lace together in a ring and attaching it with a button and some ribbon bows.

New punch and Kenny K

Got my new MS punch in the mail today so I just had to use it - of course...

I used the supercute Kenny K image and some black velvet paper, the texture of this card is fab =). Loads of roses from Wild Orchid cause Kenny K's Krafty Girlz want things that start with R and with the punched silver paper it sure is shiny enough to fit Cute Card Thursday (just in the nick of time ).

Distress ink storage

Morning,
got a tip from Jen about foam board for copic storage. I don't do copics but I have my distress ink pads that usually are all over the place so I decide to have a go at a distress ink storage thingy. Got myself some foam board from a local craft store - Konstnärsshopen here in Umea - and got my craft knife and glue gun out. I was really surprised to find how easy it was to work with and how sturdy it is. Now I have all my ink pads together with their respective foam pad, in alphabetical order - yey I'm organized

magnolia chocolate box

We're going to a friend's house for dinner this evening and a true crafter can't go somewhere empty handed, right? =)
So I had this box of chocolate that I made a new cover to. Papers are Pion design from the gorgeous new series Fairytale of Spring, and so it the ticket.

SFTW - monochromatic

Morning,
time for another fortnightly fun at Stampin for the Weekend. The theme is monochromatic so we want you to create something using nuances of mainly one colour. I chose purple and made a pencil case for my young one to have at school. The case itself is bought plain and undecorated and I covered it with paper and added some butterflies, flowers and bling.
