Allsorts - Spring flowers

This week at Allsorts Wendy chose the theme and she decided on Spring flowers. I made a gift bag by distressing some paper with Fired Brick, Dried Marigold and Victorian Velvet. I stamped and embossed white flowers from Stempelglede for backing paper and made flowers using a Sizzix die on the rest of the distressed paper. Some lace here and there finished the creation.


I make my own paper bags to fit my needs :). Simply by following a template like this and adjusting the measurements.

Allsorts - Kitchen/Cooking/Baking

Hi all,
this week at Allsorts Mervi chose the theme Kitchen/Cooking/Baking so I made a card with a Magnolia image and a sentiment in Swedish saying "Is there cake?" I did a little paper piecing on the image, a rather fun technique I use way too seldom.

Allsorts - love

Morning all,
this week I'm in charge of the theme at Allsorts and since we're closing in on Valentine's I figured that Love would be a good theme. So Love it is.
I made a wedding card using a LotV image and kept the rest of the card white. Goes well with the overall colour up here in the north of the globe cause gosh do we have snow here. And around -15 degrees Celsius every day. Brrrrrr....

Allsorts - masculine

This week at Allsorts, the theme is Masculine. Some might see this as a real challenge - me included 🤯 but I made a water colour background, cut out a circle and made a die cut circle frame over which I put a diecut sentiment. Clean and elegant is usually quite sufficient for males 🧔

Allsorts - Milestones (numbers)

This week the theme at Allsorts is Milestones with numbers. I chose to make a gift tag for my nephew's son on his 2nd birthday. Image is an old Magnolia stamp, easy to colour since hair is always a struggle :).

We have some lovely embossing folders from Tattered Lace up for grabs.
