RSD Rubber

Rick st Dennis has some new rubber stamps listed at I break for Stamps and they are just lovely. And the samples of the Pumpkin head witch and I have a new tooth are my cards! Yey! Who ever said Halloween couldn't be cute? :)

Apothecary jar

Morning,
the weather is amazing today but before I toss myself in the sun chair on the patio I wanted to show you my latest items.
This is the start of an apothecary jar, template here:

and this is the finished creation:

I am really pleased with it. Paper is Magnolia and then I just used some liquid pearl White opal and some lace, no other decorations necessary :).

Challenges:
Simon says - anything goes
Live and love crafts - warm or cool colours (I went with a cool colour)
Creative Inspirations - anything goes
Onestopcraft - keep it simple
Addicted to stamps and more - anything goes

And I also took this storage thingy from IKEA - so not my style - and covered it with mod podge and some fabric, lots prettier now :).

Have a gorgeous day all!

Allsorts - Photo inspiration

At Allsorts this week we have a photo inspiration for you. It's always very nice to see how people interpret pictures and how they create by them.
I saw the candy and figured that a candy box would be suitable so I made one :). The paper roses got extra shabby with the help of white acrylic paint and some gold glitter.

The box template is called Tucked Away and is from Lauren Meader, but I think it's retired.

SFTW - Shape it up

This fortnight Stampin for the Weekend is sponsored by my favourite artist Rick st Dennis and the theme for the challenge is Shape it up. I used the image The vicarage scene and made a tag suitable perhaps for a house warming gift. Hop over to SFTW for your chance to win some of Rick's amazing images.

Allsorts - Kraft paper

The challenge at Allsorts this week is to use kraft paper on your creation. I really like kraft paper cause it goes well with both pink and blue and make amazing combos. This is a simple card with many die cuts - what would crafting be without them :) ...

Other challenges:
Crafts 4 eternity - anything goes
Charizma cards - make your own embellishments (I made the flowers by punching cardstock and vellum)

Sticks and stones...

I thought I'd pop by and tell you why I've been MIA for a while.
The picture isn't me, it's my wee one who broke her leg last Sunday evening so we spent last week in the hospital operating in two metal pins in her leg.
It sucks of course since her summer holiday basically is ruined but her sweet dad decided that instead of buying her a new bike for her birthday on the 19th (well, yes, a bike as a present would have sucked bigtime!!) we got her a PS3 and the game Little Big Planet. So she's ok. =)
No pressure on the left foot for a couple of weeks so at least I get lots of exercise fetching stuff for her =)

But she is a right little trooper and the fact that she - since she was alone when it happened - had the sense to send me an sms and call 911 on her own, she made mummy very proud of her little hero =)

Allsorts - favourite things

This week at Allsorts our truly talented Brenda wants us to use our favourite things, so I used the things I can't be without: my distress inks, Stickles and seam binding. The image is from this week's sponsor Digistamp Boutique.

other challenges:
The ribbon girl challenge - add a bow
Creative inspirations paint - anything goes

SFTW - colour inspiration

There's a lovely colour combo for you over at Stampin for the Weekend this fortnight, the image is just gorgeous as inspiration, go check it out.
I made a card for my elder daughter's birthday (yesterday) and used a sponsor image from Saturated Canary. They are truly lovely to work with!

Other challenges:
Saturated canary challenge - celebration
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
The shabby tea room - photo inspiration
