SFTW - starting christmas early

Well, I already have, I've managed a couple of cards already (not published yet, all in due time hehe). But for the challenge at Stampin for the Weekend I'll show you this creation: Kenny K image on silvery paper - shines fantastically IRL but is hopeless to take a good photo of, you know how it is. The Christmas stamp from Panduro, stamped with white ink took three days to dry cause of the paper, but hey it's only September ;)

Allsorts - anything but square

This week at Allsorts the theme is Anything but square so I figured I might as well do something that's definitely not square - a pin cushion :)

I made the base from an empty roll of double-sided tape, filled with cotton, covered with lace and put a fancy bow as decoration.

Just a quickie

Just popping in to post a card with this adorable LotV-image to take part in some challenges. The rain is pouring down but I've got a cake in the oven so all is good =)

I know the stitches are all wonky but the machine doesn't agree with me =)

Totally Tilda - Bookmark

This fortnight at Totally Tilda we want you to create a bookmark. Might need those now that schools' started and all :). My bookmark is used by putting the small tab - with mini Tilda - into the book and letting the larger piece hang on the front of the book. That way I could decorate the bookmark with flowers and such, and I am a sucker for that ;)

Allsorts - gift box

Saturday so time for another challenge at Allsorts.  This week we want you to make a gift of some sort - could be a gift box, could be a gift tag...

I made a gift box for tea bags. Flowers are handmade from light gold cardstock and distressed with faded jeans and black soot. The bow is hot-glued in place, that's why the ribbon stays so curly ;). Template to the tea box is from Lauren Meaden. 

SFTW - Pearls and Swirls

Time for another challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and the theme is Pearls and Swirls. I think this Wee stamp is adorable, and so easy to colour :). Just a light gold cardstock, a doily and some decos to finish it off.

Tilda box

Just back from a day in the forest with a full bucket of wild raspberries - bliss!!

I also have a small gift box to enter some challenges with. (Box template from My Time Made Easy). I made the pearl sprays myself with rice beads from Ebay, some fishing line and my hot glue gun. Flowers from Wild Orchid.
