Allsorts - Heavy metal

This week at Allsorts it's my turn to host the challenge and I've named it Heavy metal - I want you to use some kind of metal on your card, could be a charm, could be chains or pins. 
Sponsoring this week are Stitchy stamps and Flonz craft. I used clearstamps from Flonz craft and I love both the image and the sentiment! 

Totally Tilda - Kraft card

At Totally Tilda the challenge this fortnight is to use Kraft card. I've seen so many wonderful cards on the web with images coloured on kraft card but since I use distress ink and markers I don't think the result would be a pretty sight so I opted for kraft card as background. 
The larger flowers are kraft card painted with iridescent medium to get the sparkle, the corners are kraft card covered with glossy accents. 

Allsorts - circles

This week at Allsorts the theme is circles and I used the digistamp Rosebud from our sponsor, so pretty and so swiftly coloured :). What I like most with digistamps is that you can so easily scale them, I simply paste them in Microsoft Word to do that. And I have an Epson stylus SX100 to print them on Canson Montval aquarelle paper 200 g, the printer is an old but reliable machine and the ink doesn't bleed so I can colour the images with distress markers or reinkers.

SFTW - monochromatic

It's time for another challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and the theme is monochromatic. The text stamp on the inside of the card is a total favourite, bought it in a stamp shop in London, a shop filled with stamps only and this stamp was the only one I wanted, a bit disappointing but this one is cherished so at least I didn't go there for nothing ;)

One week left for the summer fun challenge at Totally Tilda. To inspire you I made a CAS card where Tilda's dress were stamped on the backing paper and pieced on to the image.

LotV Christmas bag

Allsorts - recipe

This week's challenge at Allsorts is a recipe; use 3 flowers, 2 stamps and 1 paper. I used two digistamps from this week's sponsor Digistamp Boutique and made a backing paper of them - sort of two bears with one stone hehe, aren't I witty today ;). The pink frames are areas distressed with Victorian Velvet. Sentiment is Flonz stamps.
