Totally Tilda - Tilda with a hat on

It's time for another challenge with Totally Tilda and the theme is Tilda with a hat on. I got this adorable Aussie Tilda to work with but there are loads of other cute Tildas with hats on so do play along this time.

Allsorts - Free and easy 2

Welcome to another week with Allsorts and a free and easy theme. We sure got lots of entries and I loved going around and visiting to see all the great projects!

This week I made a birthday card using a Kenny K image. The birthday child is a big fan of Twilight and I think this image is sooo Alice =) The flowers are dabbed with white paint and gold to give them an aged look.

It's time for another fortnight with Stampin for the weekend and the colour combo to aim for is blue and creme. There's a great photo to inspire you on the challenge blog.

I used a LotV image with some DCWV paper to create a card for a boy. Don't have a lot of those lying around =)

Valentine's candlebox

I found these adorable scented candles yesterday and decided to make giftboxes for Valentine's. I distressed plain white paper with victorian velvet, vintage photo and milled lavender, embossed it with Budding vine from Craft concepts and sprayed with perfect pearls gold. And I thought I would beat my own record on amount of challenges since it's that time of the year =).

This week and throughout February Allsorts will be FREE & EASY so you decide what to create - great isn't it =)

I made a box, covered in with flowers from Wild Orchid, filled it with candy and gave it to a dear colleague that is leaving us and moving on to greener pastures.

Not only is it Monday, it's the last challenge for Die Cut Dreams. I've been on the design team since October 2009 so of course it is sad to put the challenge blog to rest but life has a tendency to go on :).
And I got a new DT spot with Totally Tilda so the sum of my pains is constant, hehe.


Well, let's go out with a bang, shall we? Make sure you enter this last challenge and make it the best ever! The theme is Pink, Red and Heart.

I made a tag from a chipboard heart, a Magnolia image and lots and lots of roses. To make it differ from the blue heart I posted a few days ago I added the paper lace. Very girly :)

Totally Tilda - first DT assignment!

Well, what do you know? Miracles do happen! :)
I've been asked to join the supertalented girls over at the Totally Tilda challenge, did I accept? You bet!!

So my first assignment is this fortnight's challenge which is Valentine's Red and Pink. It's a great combo so why don't you hop over and give it a go.

This time at Allsorts I'm hosting the challenge and I want you to use a heart on your project. And mind you - hearts on the backing paper doesn't count! It has to be a heart with a purpose =).

I used a chipboard heart that I covered with DP from Tim Holtz, faux stitches and distressed edges. The image is an old Magnolia favourite =).
