Allsorts - alter or recycle

This week at Allsorts we want you to alter or recycle something. I took a plain pencil case, painted it with acrylic paint and covered it in designer paper from Pion design.

I got this great bat image from Rick St Dennis and he asked me to think outside the box with it, so outside the box it is. I used my newfound love - the tin foil tape from the hardware store - and made a corset bag that looks medieval =)

GDT Country scrap, week 2

Morning,
this is my second post today and also my second week as guest designer for Countryscrap. This time I have made a corset bag using a template from Card carousel and DP from Tim Holtz. (I enlarged the template from A4 to A3 cause that was a better size for me.) I really enjoyed doing this and it's a perfect gift =)

DCD - flower power

This fortnight at Die Cut Dreams the challenge is Flower Power which means you must use at least five flowers. I decorated a small tin can using paper from Melissa Frances, lace from Panduro, a die cut key from Magnolia and some ribbon I found in the drawer. It's rather small so it's good for keeping pills or vitamins in. The last picture is the can in it's original state - hidious isn't it =).

Allsorts - flowers and swirls

Morning,
at Allsorts this week the theme is Flowers and Swirls and I used a rhododendron image from one of our sponsors, you can find it here. It's a very clean card, makes me all itchy to do them =) but the flower is so pretty it really didn't need much decorating. The swirls I made with pearl maker.

SFTW - tickled pink

Time for another challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and the theme is Tickled Pink.

I altered an empty can of salt - my husband goes through them in a terrifying rate so I have loads =). Tim Holtz papers and a mini Magnolia, easy peasy =)

Countryscrap wanted me to be guest designer for a month and they sent me this packet with gorgeous stuff to create from. I will post my work every Monday in September, and this box for three tealights and a matchbox with a matching card is my first creation. Thanks Camilla for the tutorial =)

Allsorts - blue and green

Keeping my fingers crossed for Blogger to co-operate cause I'm in Spain =). It was a sort of last-minute decision to go there with some friends who have an apartment outside Alicante.

At Allsorts this week the theme is blue and green, a perfect combo for cards to baby boys =). I love this image, I think I've mentioned that previously =).
