My French card - O la la!

Let me introduce Coco, a very chic lady from one of Rick St Dennis fabulous digital collections. Absolutely perfect for the card to our French teacher at school who is leaving us... sob...

Coloured with distress inks Black Soot and Stormy Sky. The sentiment should say "You are fabulous", if it doesn't blame Google translate ;)

second post today, could it be cause the weather sucks? Or because work starts next week? Or maybe because I need crafting to get my mind of the fact that I'm losing yet another collegue at work? Probably all of the above I would say =).

home again after a week in Varberg. Great weather, great food, great time =).

And today I have a card for a couple of challenges:

Allsorts - red card

Morning,

this week at Allsorts it's my turn to host the challenge and I want you to make a red card (well, it doesn't have to be a card, it can be a layout, a box or an altered item but the main colour has to be red).

I'm not saying you have to get started on your Christmas projects - although it's never too early to start hehe...
No, just make sure the main colour of your project is red.

This is my contribution to the challenge, and is it a Christmas card or isn't it? Well, you be the judge of that =)

Made my own backing paper by stamping with Aged Mahogany on white paper. Framed the Magnolia image with a gelatin sheet so no rain on this card please =)

SFTW - spots and dots

This fortnight at Stampin for the Weekend the theme is Spots and Dots.

I used paper from DCWV Linen Closet, image from Magnolia and flowers from I am Roses.

altered bottle

Second post today, it's cause we're going to my mother-in-law in the south of Sweden tomorrow and computer access might be thin. But on the bright side she lives just a couple of miles from the Magnolia store in Borås and hubby promised I could spend a day there - all alone =). Yey!!

So the creation today is an altered bottle using a Hanglar image and paper from Pion design.

This fortnight at Die Cut Dreams the theme is Holiday fun.

I used a LotV image and some TH designer papers. The flowers were made using ordinary white paper that I put glue on and sprinkled some sand over. Same with the diecut sentiment. Rather neat effect =)
