Holiday crafting

Had a bit of extra time on my hands since I'm on Easter Holiday so I managed a waterfall card and an altered tin can for sugarcubes. I also made a card for a challenge but since it couldn't contain any bought decorations and I can't live without the roses I had to add them after mailing the card

Skaparlusten challenge

This is my contribution to Skaparlustens challenge where you can't use bought decorations. No ribbons, no flowers, no bling unless you've made them yourself.

Spring card

This month's challenge at Nettans is to make a card or layout with a spring feeling and this is my contribution.

I distressed the background papers with Shabby shutters and Broken china, tulip stamp is from Bildmålarna and charm from Pearlized. The stamped letters are from a really old stamp set that was used at post offices way, way, way back in the old days ;).

Pretty boxes

E-A-S-T-E-R spells CANDY and the sugar rush will start right about now and last for about a week. Instead of just stuffing my offspring with sugar in various forms I wanted to add a necklace in each of the Easter eggs for my daughters but they will of course need to be charmingly gift wrapped - well the necklaces, not the daughters...
so I decided to make a small gift box with a paper band round - a belly band. They turned out rather neat and they are so easy to make. Just need to measure the item's height, length and width and use those measurements.

Stampartic skiss

Gjorde ett kort utifrån skissen Stampartic har nu. Använde mycket distresser för att få till färgsättningen, milled lavender kan tyckas lite blek men här fungerade den alldeles utmärkt, speciellt runt de vita motivkanterna.

pop up

whilst waiting for my elder daughter to have time to lay a make-up on me and make me fabulously 10 years younger (with massive help of the magic I.d. bare minerals foundation) I made a pop up card with my new Magnolia stamp and the latest stack of paper that arrived in my mailbox yesterday (it's DCWV stack 5).
We're going to a party with all (well not all but at least most) Englishmen in town tonight for a three course beer evening, gonna be super.

Gjorde ett pop up kort medan jag väntade på att dottern skulle ha tid att lägga en make på mig som gör mig mirakulöst 10 år yngre (med kraftig hjälp av id bare minerals naturligtvis). Till kortet använde jag senaste Magnoliastämpeln och DCWVs stack 5 som damp ner i brevlådan igår.
Ikväll bär det iväg på partaj med våra engelska bekanta i stan. Det blir en trerätters ölkväll, känns bra.

Easter baskets

Me and the little one made baskets this afternoon. She will bring them - with candy in - to her Show-and-Tell at school tomorrow.
Very cute and so easy to make.

Jag och lilla fröken gjorde korgar i eftermiddags. Hon ska ta med dem - med lite påskgodis i - till skolan imorgon när hon har veckans uppdrag.

Since it's April fool's Day today my elder daughter took the chance and tricked me big time today, I'm now considering letting her up for adoption...

Finished a card today since it's my afternoon with A and she appreciates her friends more than the company of mummy dearest =). This one is for MY mum - who is highly appreciated by her loving daughter - on her upcoming birthday in May. The pink paper is from Nettans, sprayed with Glimmer mist gold and the inlay paper is plain white paper coloured with distress ink (tattered rose and aged mahogany), same as the retro punch flowers on the front.
