ABC Christmas - Y and Z

 Morning all, it's time for the last challenge of the year at ABC Christmas, I'm the host this time and the theme is Y for Yummy or Z for Zebra (black and white). 

I chose to make a CAS card with an image from Poppy stamps and a computer generated sentiment. The image is elevated by using tiny foam cushions. 

ABC Christmas - W 🪽and X 🪡

 November means we're scaling up the Christmas preparations - at least I do 😉 and at ABC Christmas the theme is W for Wings and X for X-stitch (but any stitching will do).

I chose X for X-stitch 🪡with my card using an image from Milybloom, coloured with distress inks, and sewn onto a sparkling backing paper. 

ABC Christmas - U and V

 It is time for a new challenge at ABC Christmas and the theme this time is U for uncluttered (CAS) and V for vertical. 

I made a card for U for uncluttered by using a berry stamp from Lavinia on a masked background coloured with stormy sky distress ink. Berries are coloured with Festive Berries distress ink. 

ABC Christmas - S and T

 It is time for a new challenge at ABC Christmas and we have reached S and T. S for Stockings and T for trees. I chose T for Trees and made a card using Lavinia stamps on a background made with a Lavinia stencil and Distress Oxides.

 This month at ABC Christmas the theme is:

'P is for Pastel Colours'

'Q is for Quick'

'R is for Robins'

I chose P for Pastel and used stamps from Lavinia to create a wintery landscape. Background is made with a Lavinia stencil and distress inks.

🎄ABC Christmas - N and O

 For July the challenge at ABC Christmas is N for non-Christmas stash and O for One layer cards. I masked off a square, created a night sky with distress oxides and stamped a Lavinia fairy and some grass together with a small sentiment stamp (brand? not my strength to remember such details).

I was going to have a card for N as well, but I have all cards that I have created and photographed on a USB-drive and I seem to have misplaced it 😱. It's a bit of a disaster and I'm hoping it will resurface soon.

 This month at ABC Christmas we have J for Jingle and K for Kraft. I chose K and made a card with a kraft paper background and som die cut birches. I added a bauble topper and drew the string to "fasten" it on a branch.

ABC Christmas - C and D

 Morning,

it's time for a new challenge at ABC Christmas and it's C for Cute and D for Die cuts. I dug out an old Magnolia stamp and coloured it with distress inks. The backing paper is from a very old Tim Holtz paper pack and I used one die cut to make the image backing and another to make the corners of the card. It's a very long time since I coloured a Magnolia image but I really enjoyed it.

ABC Christmas - A and B

 It's time for the first challenge of this year at ABC Christmas and it is A for Anything Christmas and B for buildings.

I went for Anything Christmas and made a card using a napkin as backing paper, yes a napkin. I wanted the texture and frayed edges you get when ripping napkins, so I painted it with watercolors and ripped the edges while the paper was wet. Then I added the diecut reindeer and trees and embossed the stars in white.

ABC Christmas reminder

 The current challenge at ABC Christmas is Y for Your favourite colours and Z for Zoo animals. This card is for Y for your favourite colours. The blue winter sky combined with the bright red berries is such a great effect and I love it.

I used a circle stencil to do the moon and used Stormy Sky and Blueprint Sketch distress inks to create the winter sky. The berry stamp is Lavinia, coloured with Candid Apple distress ink and I made snow using a white posca pen. And then I took out my precious silver glitter paper that I've just admired and loved for so long, held my breath and cut a piece for backing.

ABC Christmas - Y and Z

 It is time for the last challenge of this year at ABC Christmas. It is Y for Your favourite colours and Z for Zoo animals. 

I went for zoo animals in creating this card with stamped animals from Lili of the Valley and a brick stencil where I used grey and green acrylic paint. 

I'll return before Christmas with my take on the Y for Your favourite colour :)

Lavinia winter witches

 There is still a couple of days left to enter the current challenge at ABC Christmas where the theme is W for Watercolor and X for Xylophone (inspirational colors). 

I am posting a winter scene featuring the adorable witches from Lavinia stamps. I used black cardstock and made the moon with a circle stencil and white pan pastels.

🎄ABC Christmas - W and X

 I am back from a wonderful adventure to Kansas City, Missouri, and the International competition in barbershop. My chorus came in on a 17th place and we are so very proud of our debut in the world championship.

And it is time for the November challenge at ABC Christmas where Fabiola will host the theme 

W for watercolor and X for xylophone. 

And to avoid any confusion we are aiming for the bright colours of the xylophone for kids, there's a photo inspiration for you over at the challenge blog.

I made a card coloured with my distress inks for W. I cannot remember where the stamp with the carolling children comes from but at least I remember that the embossed stars/snowflakes are Lavinia :)

And as X for xylophone I made a bright background with watercolours and I´m quite sure the image is a Lili of the Valley. Gosh, I'm really bad at keeping track of where my stamps come from.

I chose teal, a favourite color of mine and an unusual Christmas color. Raindeers and trees are die cut from black cardstock, the background is done using a circle stencil and distress inks.

S for Stencils and T for Traditional Christmas Colors. I chose Traditional Christmas colours in red, green and gold and used a wreath from Poppy Stamps.

🎄ABC Christmas - P, Q and R

 It's time for the August challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge and we have arrived at P, Q and R. I'm hosting this challenge and the letters represent P for Pink, Q for quartet (four of something) and R for Rudolph. So many possibilities! 

I chose R for Rudolph and made a soft grey card using Lavinia stamps and distress inks. Sentiment is computer generated. 

A lucky winner will receive two Fizzy Moon stamps, I figured that after Christmas you might need to send some Happy New Year cards and then these will come in handy 🥂

🎄ABC Christmas - N and O

 This month at ABC Christmas Fabiola has set the theme to N for No stamping or O for Off the edge.

I made a gift tag using a stencil and some gold acrylic paint and decorated it with a circle topper surrounded by some die cut lace. No stamping in sight 👀
