Rustic male card

 Today I used some design paper from Chocolate Baroque's black and white series and inked it with distress inks in blue and yellow. Same distress ink is used on the oval backing of the sentiment and then I just added the die cut sentiment and some baker's twine. The design paper is very thin and delicate but holds ink really well, making it perfect for colouring to needs and desire.

Sunny slimline card

 I decided to try the format slimline card again, using the stamp set Wild Meadow from Chocolate baroque. The colours give the illusion of a summer evening sun - or that is the intention any way. I'm really hoping those warm summer evenings will come soon cause it's been rather cold and rainy for a while now.

Birthday cards in yellow and orange

 Today I have two birthday cards in yellow and orange. I paper pieced the leaves and hippo to make them pop more on the distressed background.

The zebra stripes are made using a stencil and black acrylic paint.

Dress remake

 I bought a dress last year at the H&M sale, loved the fabric but the model wasn't (and still isn't) very flattering on me.

So I cut of the skirt, adjusted the waist line and used a free romper pattern I found online to remake the skirt to a pant bottom. I have never been a fan of the spaghetti straps so I cut them off and used a piece of the fabric to make new, wider straps.

Now, this is more me! 

The wide legs are super comfy, and I don't have to worry about wind or chafing :)

Robot tag

 Today I have a tag using an image from Tiddly Inks. I printed the image on white paper, coloured it with water colours and distressed the paper with Bundled Sage. The swirl is a die cut, and nothing more to it :)
