Allsorts - Old favourites

This week at Allsorts it's time to take out the old and treasured favourites. I chose to dust of the wonderful swirl set from Stempelglede that is so pretty but I sort of forgot it in a drawer, you know how it is :)
I inked some paper with blue and purple distress ink and embossed the swirls in gold. Simple but effectful. I won't put the stamp set back at the bottom of the drawer for a while now :).

Allsorts - butterflies

To balance last week's theme at Allsorts that I found a bit tricky - which you guys sure didn't :) - this week is an easy one: Butterflies.
I used a laser cut butterfly and a new sentiment I got for Christmas, a sentiment just up my alley :)

Allsorts - no patterned paper

This week Tracy Mouse set the theme at Allsorts to "No patterned papers". Ooooh, tricky one was my first thought, I love design papers! But I'm not the one who folds easily so I made a dry embossed background, used some lovely Penny Black birds and a huge bow as focus so no one would even react to the fact that it's just plain white cardstock as a base :)

Allsorts - something new

I hope 2018 started nicely for you all. It's a fresh new year now, gone are the Christmas decorations and it's time to look forward to spring (which is way, way ahead when you live where I do). We have a brand new challenge for you at Allsorts, and the theme is Something new. I used a new stamp from Lili of the Valley and just to be on the safe side I also have the theme new home on the card :).

I hope you all have a nice weekend, it's back to school on Monday for me after the Christmas holiday so I'm really savouring these last few days :)
