Allsorts - ribbon, more than a bow

This week at Allsorts the challenge is to use ribbon but use it for more than just a bow. I took some ribbon, weaved them together and put them inside a circle frame. I finished it off with a die cut sentiment dipped in gold glitter and som gold stickles around the frame.

Allsorts - forest friends

This week at Allsorts the theme is Forest friends. Since I adore the teddies from Lili of the Valley I saw an opportunity here and made a card with just the image and some die cut flowers. The leaves I got by die cutting a large maple leaf and cutting into pieces. Simple but very effectful!

Allsorts - name or numbers

This week at Allsorts the theme is name or numbers. And I must start by appologizing for the crappy picture this time, don't know what happened with the lighting on this one. But I made a silhouette card by cutting out a circle shape in white cardstock. Then I diecut some butterflies and glued them behind the cardstock to create the illusion of a lasercut object. The backing paper, as well as the number 45, is in shining purple glitter cardstock, perhaps that is what messed with the camera? Or perhaps the fact that I had my first day back to work after the summer holiday yesterday, first day back after almost nine weeks of free time is always a shocker :)

Penny Black and More GDT

This month it's my turn to be guest designer for our sister challenge Penny Black and More. The theme for August is All creatures great and small and that's a walk in the park since Penny Black has loads of wonderful stamps with the cutest creatures. Like the little hedgehog that I chose. Allsorts - Colours of your flag

Usually I'm very happy living where I do, but when a challenge theme like this week's at Allsorts comes along, Sweden really isn't a winner with its yellow and bright blue colours. So I toned down the bright blue to a soft nuance instead, and made the yellow more gold, otherwise this would not have ended well :) But yellow and blue, the colours of my flag, it is :)
