Allsorts - Something new

Morning all,
first challenge at Allsorts for 2017 and Mervi set the theme to Something new. Little did I know just how suiting that would turn out to be...
Presenting to you the poem I got for Christmas from my older daughter, roughly translated: Dear mum, you're gonna be a grandma at the end of June. The last line - in my body, beloved mum, there are two hearts beating - brings me to tears every time, seriously every time! So I wanted to make it into a keepsake, using a paperpack from Lemoncraft I got from my best friend and a new butterfly die that I bought two of, one for me and one for my bestie :)

Allsorts - Blue bingo

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts, this week the theme to Blue bingo.
I made a new sign for my scraproom door and I used the row Blue and brown, stencilling and distressed edges. Stencilling, really? you might ask yourselves. But if you look closely at the tag it is distressed using a Tim Holtz swirl stencil :)

Allsorts - Christmas lights

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts, this week I'm hosting the challenge and I set the theme to Christmas lights cause I think they are the highlight of the season (pun intended). Whether it's candles or electric lights they bring warmth to heart and mind. We have some really pretty dies for a lucky winner so make sure you follow the challenge theme and the below rules to be eligible for the prize.

I know that most of you don't intentionally step outside the line but check your own blogs by logging out of your blog account or use a different web browser and comment on one of your own entries. Then you will see if you have an extra verification on it - like a word verification or that you have to click certain images to be able to comment. If you do, please take them away in the blog settings (there are many good tutorials online for doing this). Moderating a blog so that you accept the comments before they are posted is enough to keep the spammers away, and it makes commenting easier. I guarantee that you'll get more comments on your entries!
