Allsorts - use brads

Morning,
it's my turn to set the theme at Allsorts and I chose Use brads. It's a lovely decoration and they come is so many different shapes and forms.
I made a Christmas card using a Magnolia image and put some blingy brads as flower centers.

Hopefully there'll be some time for crafting next week cause there's a sports holiday for all schools all of next week, and crafting is a sport, right?

The Sugar Bowl - anything goes

It's time for our March challenge at The Sugar Bowl and once again it's anything goes. I made a folded card following Brenda's tutorial, image is Verity from Sugar Nellie's Simply Adorable line.

I'm pretty pleased with the vintage outcome of this card. And since the digital image is pre-shaded colouring is so easy!

So, all you have to do is make a card or other craft project using a Sugar Nellie image and this prize could be yours….

Allsorts - the colour purple

Morning,
the challenge at Allsorts this week is to use the colour purple and I'm not sure why it turned out to be such a challenge for me but it's definitely not one of my prouder moments...

Anyhow, this is my contribution, using the image Butterflygirl from one of our sponsors A Day for Daisies.

Allsorts - Any occassion but birthday

This week at Allsorts the theme is Any occassion but birthday so I decided to make a Christmas card - I mean why not? ;)
I used a wonderful landscape stamp from Stampendous, called snowy postcard, masked of the center oval and distressed it in blue.
