Allsorts - Flower Power

This week at Allsorts the theme is Flower Power and of course I grabbed the opportunity to make a gift box :). Last picture is the box I started out with, before I decorated it with lots and lots of flowers. 

Sugar Bowl - Anything goes

Since I have been offered to stay on at the Sugar Bowl team for another 4 month period - which I of course proudly accepted - it is time to show my contribution to the February challenge. It's Anything goes as long as you use a Sugar Nellie image, which isn't hard cause they're all adorable.

I used Melissa from Funky Kits, coloured her with distress inks in Stormy Sky and Milled Lavender. I embossed the sentiment in silver (which doesn't show very well, but trust me; it's very shiny) and left the image to speak for itself.

Allsorts - Lace and Pearls

Saturday means a new challenge at Allsorts and this week the theme is Lace and Pearls. My make is a gift box for our dear "sister chorus" Alba Show chorus to wish them luck in the international competition in Baltimore. We sent them a snowflake each so they could fasten it on their clothes and think of us :)

Saturday means a new challenge at Allsorts and this week the theme is Spring flowers. I used an image from Wild Rose Studio and put flowers all over the place :)

Allsorts - new and cute

Two nice occasions today - a new challenge at Allsorts and it's my birthday :)
Mervi set the theme to New and Cute so I decided to use my LotV bunny image and make a baby card. Not a lot of decorations but the image works so well on its own :)

This weekend the whole family will have a hotel sleep-over and spend an entire day at IKEA, thanks to my sister who arranged it all. How's that for a birthday treat? ;)

Penny Black and More - stencils, masks and embossing

Hi there,
My turn to be guest designer for our sister challenge Penny Black and More. The challenge is to use stencils, masks or embossing folders. With distress inks in Spun sugar, Weathered wood and Black soot I masked a background to the wonderful stamp Snow dust. Lots and lots of liquid pearls finished the project.

Allsorts - cold and frosty

Time for the first challenge of the year at Allsorts and our beloved Brenda chose Cold and Frosty colours. I made two cards using images from Nicecrane's Wine & Elfos since Nicecrane is one of our sponsors.
The cards are for two very lovely ladies that I work with because they are so important to me, with a wish for a fantastic 2015.
