Allsorts - Use those dies

Hi all,
at Allsorts this week we want you to make use of all the dies you've gathered =).

And as my DT work I present the gift I made for one of the quartets in our chorus. Lots of dies used here; Spellbinders frame, Martha Stewart heart and Tim Holtz rosette. The rest are punches :)

SFTW - Spring colours

It's my turn to host the challenge at Stampin for the Weekend this fortnight, so I'll try to keep up my end of the bargain :)
We are sponsored by Live and Love Crafts, a wonderful craft store, and the theme is Spring Colours.

I made a gift box in bright Easter-inspired colours, decorated with the image March Daffodil from Rick St Dennis, a gorgeous image with suiting spring flowers. But I might of course be biased cause I love all his ladies in hat-stamps!

Allsorts - all about the boys

It's All about the boys at Allsorts this week. We are sponsored by Craft fairy.
I decided to make a clean and easy male card to have up my sleeve for a rainy day - who knows when you might need it :)
I stamped the sentiment in white on the tag, and then filled in some more with a white pen, which is why it looks a bit smudged, can't be helped. But if it's handmade it is :)

I made an envelope card and since we are sponsored by Passion for Stamps and Nicecrane I decided to use one of the images from the Angels and Fairies series from Nicecrane.

Hi,
this fortnight at Stampin for the Weekend the theme is Anything goes. So my DT work is a gift box for a christening. Using an image from LotV, coloured with distress ink markers.

Allsorts - Sports

Morning,
At Allsorts the theme this coming week is Sports. Picking the lovely Lili of the Valley stamp with the fisher boy got me off easy =)

Background is an embossing folder distressed with Weathered Wood - and I lifted out on word as a sentiment and distressed it with Frayed Burlap.

Allsorts and Penny Black and More

My elder daughter is flying to Miami today on a kick-off week with her work - fully paid with meals, excursions and a four star hotel and I'm not at all jealous... But she worked hard for it and she totally deserves it :)

Anyway, today I have two projects for you; my DT work for Allsorts and my guest DT work for Penny Black and More.
At Allsorts the theme is Spring is Coming and I made a gift tag using an image called August Poppy from Rick st Dennis. I just love all his "hat ladies"!

And then there's the project for Penny Black and More where the theme is So sweet. Could be candy or sweets but I chose an image so sweet you could almost eat it =)

Edit: wooops, just realized that the Penny Black and More challenge starts tomorrow... Oh well, you got a head start on creating something sweet then :)
