Allsorts - Sentiment

This week at Allsorts Brenda is challenging us to put the sentiment or quote as a focal point on our creations. I used a computer generated sentiment (you can download it for personal use under my Freebies tab) on a vintage book page and some red cardstock and ribbon. All distressed with Antique Linen.

Evening, a bit late but here's my contribution to this fortnight's challenge at Stampin for the Weekend: A card following the theme Colours of summer. A lovely image to colour and it goes so well on its own =)

Allsorts - use acetate

Morning,
this week I'm hosting the challenge at Allsorts and I want you to use acetate on your creation. That transparent, plastic material you can use to make gorgeous boxes, packages or details on your projects.

I made a gift box using the 1935 hat stamp digi image from Rick St Dennis, coloured with Distress Markers, I love the elegant feel to it!

Allsorts - Use latest purchase

Morning,
at Allsorts this week the challenge is to use your latest purchase on your creation. I went with my newest Spellbinder dies and recently acquired design papers from Maja design.

Så himla glad man blir då!!! Har fått den stora äran att få ingå i designteamet för Scrap och Ting så nu ser jag ivrigt fram emot att första DT-paketet ska dimpa ner i lådan.

I'm really thrilled cause I have been chosen as one of the DT members for Scrap och Ting, and now I'm eagerly awaiting the first DT parcel to arrive :)

SFTW - Butterflies

Morning all,
time for a new challenge at Stampin for the Weekend, themed butterflies.
And since we are sponsored by Saturated Canary I chose one of her wonderful images to colour for the project. I masked away the suitcases she's sitting on - artistic freedom ;)

Here we go again!

Time to dust off the work computer, back to work today! I've made a new screen top cover to brighten the days ahead, very me ;)

Butterfly image is Papermania Urban stamps, the front image/sentiment is Bugaboo. Background masked with Tattered Angels Garden lattice stencil and distressed with Dusty concord and Faded Jeans.

Order is restored!

I don't know about you, but in my bag everything is a mess. I can hear the phone ringing but I know that I'll never find it before it stops ringing - it's like the closet of Narnia in there...
Well, maybe now I have a shot at finding my keys, my purse, my lipstick cause I've made a bag insert out of an old cereal box. Covered in pretty fabric and with pockets on the outsides. I'd say I have a fair chance at least ;)

Allsorts - stitching

Schools start soon here so it's back to work on Monday, but let's not worry about that today cause it's Saturday and time for an Allsorts challenge. The theme is stitching and my contribution is a kids case altered to suit as a money collector for our concerts with Snowflakes.

RSD Rubber

Rick st Dennis has some new rubber stamps listed at I break for Stamps and they are just lovely. And the samples of the Pumpkin head witch and I have a new tooth are my cards! Yey! Who ever said Halloween couldn't be cute? :)

Apothecary jar

Morning,
the weather is amazing today but before I toss myself in the sun chair on the patio I wanted to show you my latest items.
This is the start of an apothecary jar, template here:

 

and this is the finished creation:

I am really pleased with it. Paper is Magnolia and then I just used some liquid pearl White opal and some lace, no other decorations necessary :).

And I also took this storage thingy from IKEA - so not my style - and covered it with mod podge and some fabric, lots prettier now :).

Allsorts - Photo inspiration

At Allsorts this week we have a photo inspiration for you. It's always very nice to see how people interpret pictures and how they create by them.
I saw the candy and figured that a candy box would be suitable so I made one :). The paper roses got extra shabby with the help of white acrylic paint and some gold glitter.

The box template is called Tucked Away and is from Lauren Meader, but I think it's retired.
