Candle light holder

I've been looking in some trendy design boutiques but I'm way too cheap to buy one of their - gorgeous of course but still... - candle light holders and pay out of my nose for it. So I decided to make my own. I bought a couple of odd holders at a second hand shop. Unfortunately I forgot to take a before-photo but I can assure you it wasn't a pretty sight, one was bright yellow, one was red, one was in green glass... well, you know...

And then I painted them all white, glued them to a tray - that I also painted white - and put some deco stones for stability (and looks of course). And voila, the candle light holder cost me £4. 

Allsorts - bring on the bling

Closing in on December now and best start preparing for the most wonderful time of the year =). 
At Allsorts we have a challenge for you to bring on the bling and that can't be hard, now can it? 
I have made some simple gift tags using a stamp from our sponsor Flonz stamps that I embossed to make the tags blingy.

SFTW - texture

It's time for another challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and the theme is Add something with texture (lace,cheesecloth,tulle,fabric,embossing,flowers etc)
My project is a bit different for being me =), it's a tag made with metal tape, adding lace and a flower using a TH die. But lots of texture it is =)

The scrap event

Yesterday's scrap event was really nice. Of course I didn't achieve much but I shopped and I ate and I had a good time. 

But I managed to enter one challenge there and it was to be inspired by the hexagon shape, and I won, yey me! =)

Allsorts - it's a gift

Today I'm spending the entire day at a scrap event, bliss!! So this post is scheduled, I've flirted loads with Mr Blogger so I'm sure it will work splendidly =)

The theme at Allsorts is it's a gift so I made a gift box for a collegue just cause she's absolutely awesome, no other reason needed.

Sparkle and glitter - Twisted Holidayz

Hi,
it's time for team Sparkle to host another challenge at Sparkle and Glitter with Rick and the theme is Twisted Holidayz. Read more about the challenge and enter here.

I used the image Winter friends which is so cool cause it's cute and scary at the same time =), as many of Rick's brilliant images are. Combined with some trees cut out with a die from Marianne Design the image is the focal point on this very non-traditional black and blue card.

Allsorts - young at heart

This week at Allsorts the theme is young at heart and this card was so suitable cause it's for my SIL´s grandmother´s 90th birthday! 
I used the image Roses from our sponsor and together with the die from Marianne Design I think it turned out very elegant. An extra plus is that the digi image is pre-shaded so colouring was made in a jiffy.

Time for another challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and the theme is All stitched up so use stitches, real or faux. 
My stitches are faux and hardly visible around the gorgeous LOTV-image but they are there =)

Allsorts - for men only

This week at Allsorts the theme is For men only. So this is the card I made for a collegue at work who turned 40 recently. It's a digistamp I won from can't remember where (edit. the stamp is Stamping boutique - thank you Dawn) and a tree die from Marianne design. The stamps on the inside of the card are from Flonz Stamps. 

Fancy ribbon route

This evening we're going to the swim facility cause there's a halloween event there for the kids. It was a blast last year =)
Today a short post (yeah, cause all my other posts are novel-sized hehe) with a card to fit some challenges. I cut slits in the image so she could sit on the ribbon, kinda happy with that effect =).
