This challenge at Allsorts was a tricky one for me. I can't resist doing layers on projects, it's like an OCD thing =). But I got some new Penny Black clear stamps last week and they are really pretty on their own so I figured I'd at least try =).

Allsorts - black and white plus one

Morning,
it's time for another challenge at Allsorts and the theme this time is to use black and white plus one other colour.

I chose silver and an image from Kenny K. Paper pack from Rusta. It was actually the first time I coloured an image in shades of black and I think it turned out rather nicely.

DCD - recipe for a blog hop!

Hello everyone!

Monday again and that means time for another new challenge at Die Cut Dreams.

Now this fortnight is a bit special for us here at Die Cut Dreams because not only do we have our beloved Boss Lady Susie Sugar back with us after her house move, the Die Cut Dreams shop has re-opened and the Challenge blog has also surpassed 700 followers - how cool is that??

So to celebrate we are having a BLOG HOP.

Allsorts - anything but square

This week at Allsorts we want you do create something that is anything but square. I made a gift box to put a necklace in, this one is to a beautiful baby girl as a christening gift.


Image is Hanglar, coloured with Dusty Concord. Two cuts in the paper made the necklace stay in place and I lifted it up slightly with a paper fold on the back to make it tilt.

SFTW - sketch

This fortnight at Stampin for the Weekend we have a sketch for you. I chose to use a stamp from LotV, coloured with distress inks Frayed Burlap and Stormy Sky. Paper from Tim Holtz and stamped the sentiment using a postman stamp kit from when I was a kid (yeah, I never throw anything away hehe). Punch is Martha Stewart.

Lil bits of Christmas

Rick st Dennis has a new sheet of Christmas digis out, called Lil Bits of Christmas, and they are just adorable!!

I braded some paper hearts - oh the flash backs from struggling with those as a kid - and made a couple of tags, can never get enough of tags =).
