Allsorts - Halloween

This week at Allsorts the theme is Halloween and I got the opportunity to use one of the stamps I got from my beloved class when they graduated this past summer - miss ya to bits btw!

It's a candy bag for all the yummy treats that scare dentists to early retirement =).

This fortnight's challenge at Stampin for the Weekend is Spooky and I have used an image from Rick St Dennis on the tag of the tea light box.

I used a Magnolia image and masked it with a frame stamp made for Spellbinders label 10. The vintage clock is a freebie from somewhere (sorry... memory you know).

DCD - use a poem

It's time for another challenge at Die Cut Dreams and we want you to use a poem.

I took out my distressers and Tim Holtz dies and used a quote from Martin Luther (German priest and scholar who lived in the early 1500s) that says:

“Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”

My home made crop in style =)

Went to buy a chair to my craft table - it was sold out - but I can't stand going home empty handed so I went to Biltema and bought a trolley, you know the kind you can use for grocery shopping. And I bought a plastic shelf with three plastic boxes. Hubby wondered what I was doing, "it's a project" I answered and got a sigh in return =).

It's not that I'm cheap - well perhaps a little =)! Anyway, I tore away the bag thingy from the trolley and the wheels from the shelf, sewed a cover for the boxes and now I have a perfect case for going to scrap events - at a fraction of what a Crop in Style cost. Yey!

And the third entry for Svensk Scrapbooking - to make a candy bag. It's been a productive evening, think I'm gonna put the glue down now and go downstairs to watch a movie =).

Altered bottle

This is my second contribution to the challenge weekend at Svensk Scrapbooking - an altered bottle. Using papers from Pion design and the small punch from X-cut to make the paper lace - excellent purchase!

This is my bear, using yellow which is not very commonly used on this site, but I keep challenging myself to keep on my toes =).

Small gift bag

I made this gift bag to participate in one of the challenges this weekend at Svensk Scrapbooking. Might be more to come before the weekend is over ;)

I used a mini-Tilda with heart, and used shrink plastic to make a charm using the same stamp. The bag is perfectly sized for a Littlest Pet shop figure and the wee one is going to a birthday party on Sunday - gosh what a coincidence ;)
