this week at Die Cut Dreams we want to see lots of hearts but no sentiment. I went for this old (but still adorable) Hanglar stamp together with a small decorative envelope I found on the net ages ago but don't remember where...

Allsorts - recycling

Morning, Saturday means Allsorts and this week I'm hosting the challenge.

I know you have all come across things that weren't really designed as crafting items and thought "hmm, maybe I can use that for something, I'll save it for later". Well, now is the time to dig that stuff out and join this week's recycling challenge. And we have a great sponsor this week!

I started with a paper bag I got when I bought some ribbon, and turned it into a frame and while I was on a roll I cut out some flowers too. The white doily I found under the glass in a hotel bathroom =).

Allsorts - card for a man/boy

Morning, once again it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and the theme to make a card for a man/boy. I made a card for my dad using a calendar page as an image, it's Thomas Kinkade and he's the most talented artist ever in my humble opinion. Alphabet is from Tim Holtz - another very talented man =). Dp is Linen Closet and the corner swirls are from Stempelglede.

I got this fantastic inspiration from a blog buddy who had made crocheted lace around the image and I just had to lift the idea straight away, thank you so much Bimsan!!!

Morning, time for another week with Die Cut Dreams and the challenge this time is to use a digi AND a real stamp. I combined a digi stamp from Robyn's fetish stamps with the adorable Kanban clear stamps (this one from Little friends Big Hugs).

Followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl for this card. Used my new roses that arrived on Friday, but I need to put in a new order already, they get in too much nice stuff at Wild Orchid =)

Morning, once again it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and the theme this week is a colour combination - teal blue and brown. I used a Hanglar image and made a criss cross card. Not overly decorated but the colours kinda do the job =).

My best friend in the whole wide world gave me all Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable-images for my birthday - yes all! I am simply overjoyed, cause they are so fantastically cute, I love them!!!

Morning, it's time for another challenge at Allsorts and the challenge this week is to use a different cardfold, i.e. anything but a regular single fold. I like this one cause it looks so fancy and is so easy to accomplish =).

Morning, it's time for a new challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and I'm hosting this challenge. The theme is something new and blue, but please no weddings =). (A wedding shouldn't be blue anyway, right hehe).
I used dp from Tim Holtz and image from LOTV. Coloured with Broken China and Antique Linen distress ink.

DCD - quote or definition

Monday means challenge at Die Cut Dreams and the theme this time is to use a quote or a definition. The text is a common bedtime verse for children and the image is from wink wink ink.
Colours used: Tumbled Glass and Shattered Straw.

What's on my workdesk on New Year's day?

We had total chaos in the craft room today =). This is what it looked like when poor hubby got up this morning, treading lightly and holding his head from yesterday. (I didn't dare to show you the floor but everything from the left hand shelf were piled up there.)


But he was a fantastic trooper and still agreed to help me move everything around. And like magic I got a huge crafting table with connecting computer space.


Cats had to try it out of course, both of them =).


And yes, I got an Ott-lite from my parents for Christmas. It's the best lamp ever, natural daylight with the flick of a button. Colours are so clear and crisp, contrast is fantastic and my eyes never get sore. How on earth have I managed all this time without it?

Allsorts - thank you

Morning and welcome to a brand new crafting year!! I hope you had a lovely New Years celebration and that you made promises you can hold through the year =).

It's not only a new year, it's also Saturday which means a new challenge for Allsorts and the theme is Thank you. I made a pillow box from homemade dp and used an image from LOTV. Coloured mainly with Spun Sugar distress ink.
