Allsorts - Gold and Cream Christmas with a hint of red

This week at Allsorts the colour combo is a real favourite =). It's Gold and Cream Christmas with a hint of red.

The LOTV image is coloured with antique linen and all the edges are distressed with the same.

DCD - Stars and Stripes for a boy

Morning, this week at Die Cut Dreams the theme is Stars and Stripes for a boy.

I stamped the Magnolia image on tissue paper, coloured it with mainly antique linen and stormy sky and transferred it to the candle with my embossing gun. The star is on the stamped tag and the stripes are made of gold wax stripes from Panduro. Matching matchbox and voila - Christmas present done =).

It has been a great week at Allsorts, I got to hop around and visit loads of fantastic bloggers and I got sooo much inspiration. And it was so nice to read all the lovely comments about my bingo challenge, true bliss!

But now it's time for a new challenge and now it's Spots and Stripes. I chose this adorable Magnolia image and opted for the main colours of weathered wood and frayed burlap.

DCD - Orange and Hot Pink

Morning, time for another challenge at Die Cut Dreams and this week it's a fab colour combo - orange and hot pink. I used a Magnolia image and coloured it with worn lipstick and spiced marmalade. Foam letters from Panduro and clear dew drops coloured with alkohol ink Raisin.

I've been home with a coughing and feverish young girl since Tuesday but today she's better so we're off to school tomorrow. And since she's feeling better today she wanted to craft a bit and make a card.
She decided to go for the recipe challenge at Simon says and Just Magnolia (cause she's not eligble for DCD, SFTW and Allsorts since she's on mummy's blog hehe) and made the card below.

She interpreted three embellishments (Simon says) as three different flowers and for the 2x2 at Just Magnolia she said that "it's two papers, two ribbons and two types of flowers, flat ones and roses- bear with her, she's just 9... and Swedish ;)

Morning, just home from Wales and ready for a new challenge at Die Cut Dreams. The theme is Get well soon.

I got both the image and the round card base from Suzie Sugar - luv ya! - and I'm not saying it looks like her, I'm just pointing out the pink furry slippers and the chocolate...

Allsorts - inspiration from a song title

Scheduled post - I'm in Wales =) =) =)

The challenge at Allsorts this week is to be inspired by a song title and I took Relax by Frankie goes to Hollywood - an oldie but a true goldie =). I made a new door plate for out bathroom door and the stamp fit perfectly. I like the blue in combination with the wood.

DCD - recipe

This week at Die Cut Dreams the challenge is a recipe: 4 flowers, gems, embossing and punching.

I made a card holding some tea candles and a match box, a thank you card for my mum being an absolute angel all the time. I don't know what I'd do without her!


And soon I'm off on a Comenius trip with a collegue and three students from school. We're going to Rhondda in Wales on Wednesday. I am so looking forward to it cause I absolutely love UK - all of it =)

SFTW and Penny Black at Allsorts

This is a rare occasion cause Stampin for the Weekend has a new challenge every other Friday and Penny Black at Allsorts has a new challenge the first of each month. That happens to be today and they both have the theme Colours of Autumn and I'm on the DT for both challenges so I simply haven't done two separate contributions, I made one - so shoot me...

Actually, since I live far up in the north of absolutely nowhere you probably can't find me anyway ;)

So, I used this marvellous Penny Black stamp called First day of Christmas, made a background of it, distressed the paper with crushed olive and vintage photo and glued some pearls all over.
