This week at Allsorts the challenge is to make a scrapbook page and for me that really is a challenge, I don't normally do photo pages and I'm seldom pleased with the ones I do. Oh well, at least I had a great photo to start with, my daughter's boyfriend and my sister's youngest son just happened to dress the same =), love them to bits!
This morning I am guest designing for Simply Magnolia. The challenge is to create a bag with butterflies, and of course use a Magnolia image =). I made the paper bag from white cardstock and decorated it with Tim Holtz dp, die cut butterflies and flowers from IamRoses. The pearl spray is home made. Image is coloured with Distress Markers.
This week at Allsorts Emma wants you to be inspired by a song. Well, I'm a sucker for the golden oldies so I decided to go for "It's my Party" from the album I´ll cry if I want to by Lesley Gore, 1963. I made a new cover for a packet of tissues, handy for wiping tears and such :) Paper is Tim Holtz, flowers from Wild Orchid. So, what's your song of choice?
Other challenges: Polka doodles - inspired by a song
It was a pleasure to see all the Christmas projects you made for the Starting Christmas Early-challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend. Hop over there and check out if you were a winner. And now it's time for a new theme - Feeling floral. Sounds easy enough, right? :)
I made a Christening card in soft pink with lots of flowers from Wild Orchid. The angel charm I've made myself.
Here is a Christmas card using one of the new images from Rick St Dennis called Isabella Christmas shopping. I think it's fabulous, she's so fashionable and still so girlishly cute =)
I hope you all like purple cause it's time for purple passionat Allsorts. So, a Christmas card in purple... why not? With the gorgeous angel from LotV any colour would have matched :)
Morning, short post before I'm off to a retro flea market with mum :). This is my favourite Tilda stamp by far, the hair is a dream to colour. The patterned papers I got from my best friend have very autumn-like colours and I'm really pleased with the outcome.
Thought I might post a cuddlier christmas card than the previous one - that depends of course on how you define cuddly ;) This one is for the challenge Black Magic at Lili's little fairies.
I also found that Patti's creations has an embossing challenge. Works for me =)
Well, I already have, I've managed a couple of cards already (not published yet, all in due time hehe). But for the challenge at Stampin for the Weekend I'll show you this creation: Kenny K image on silvery paper - shines fantastically IRL but is hopeless to take a good photo of, you know how it is. The Christmas stamp from Panduro, stamped with white ink took three days to dry cause of the paper, but hey it's only September ;)
