DCD - Stars and Stripes for a boy

Morning, this week at Die Cut Dreams the theme is Stars and Stripes for a boy.

I stamped the Magnolia image on tissue paper, coloured it with mainly antique linen and stormy sky and transferred it to the candle with my embossing gun. The star is on the stamped tag and the stripes are made of gold wax stripes from Panduro. Matching matchbox and voila - Christmas present done =).

  7. I MUST try this candle stamping technique - what lovely present it would make!!! I've never seen wax strips like that before though - such a cool touch!
